Question by Tommy: Is it common to negotiate property rental prices?
I am hoping to move to a nice condo or house soon with some friends and all the places that I actually want to live in are literally just 100 or 200 dollars beyond what we all can afford. My question is for someone who either works in real estate or property management.
Do you ever negotiate rental prices on properties? as a property manager or agent would you be open to it or do you just ignore anyone who tries to.

Question by Jay: in Hong Kong, can I get my full deposit back one day, after signing real estate salescontract?
Not that I have buyers remorse, but after sleeping over it, it was very high pressure tactict, and there were some details I overlooked. They can really sell new proprties in a very interesting and high pressure way. I guess it would be a 10,000 USD learning experience if I were to cancel the contract and thus loose my deposit. Oh well… Perhaps the properties in Hong Kong will still rise further and I actually do get a profit….
