After a successful debut at the Niche Digital Conference in Chicago, Minnick Web Services (MWS) has released a public beta version of its new ContentBoxer self-service content publishing and lead generation service.
“ContentBoxer is the easiest way to deliver content in exchange for audience information,” said Chris Minnick, MWS’s founder and CEO. “MWS's registration and reporting systems have helped our clients make millions of dollars over the last six years. Now, anyone can use these same tools at a low cost. ContentBoxer requires no technical skill beyond the use of a Web browser and all of its functions are hosted by MWS.”
ContentBoxer consists of four components: CB Form Designer, CB File Manager, CB Views, and CB StatReport. Using a simple wizard interface, content publishers upload content such as a PDF, MP3, or other file into a “Content Box.” They can then define a registration form that users must complete in order to access the content.
ContentBoxer immediately generates a link to a landing page containing the registration form, a content preview (single or group), and login fields for returning users. The content publisher can then promote the ContentBoxer link on social networks, in email marketing, and on any Web site or blog. ContentBoxer automates and manages the entire content delivery and audience management process, and provides real-time audience data in the CB StatReport console.
MWS anticipates that ContentBoxer will be adopted by media companies, marketers, and individuals for applications that include:
publishing white papers and supplements;
delivering product literature while collecting sales leads;
cross-promoting newsletter opt-ins and publication subscriptions;
conducting surveys and contests;
promoting real estate listings online;
distributing original art and music.
A fully functional ad-supported version of ContentBoxer is available for free. Paid plans range from .95 per month for the Basic Plan up to 9 per month for a Pro Plan that offers greater capacity and customization. MWS also offers Enterprise plans, which include custom design and development services.
