Home sales declining in Lee County
July sales of previously occupied homes took a plunge both locally and nationally.In Lee County, home sales declined from 135 in June to 89 in July — a 34 percent decrease — according to data provided by the Alabama Center for Real Estate at the University of Alabama. That figure includes both residential homes and condominiums.
