House posts result from Allen's interest in Alaska
Anchorage received a remarkable gift earlier this month when four house posts were installed at the Southeast clan house on the grounds of the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Four carvers were involved in the project, David Boxley, brothers Joe and T.J. Young and Israel Shotridge.

There is a new House of Hope in Douglas. The old facility for House of Hope is being moved into a new house. The House of Hope is a shelter for abused women and children; boys under the age of 18 with their mothers are welcome.

Open House for Parents of gifted and talented students

This is the other half of Parliament House which I posted earlier today. Across the river is Boat Quay & The Central Business District. Taken at the same spot as where I took the earlier shot at High Street Centre. it was unfortunate that I couldn't arrive on time for the blue hour. Well maybe the next round…
pp: I have cheated slightly with photoshop to get the Elgin bridge in full. The original shot was cut off near right corners (see original). Another shot was used to blend in but taken from a different angle to show more of the river. Made the bridge slightly bigger to give some depth to the scene. As usual finish off with light sharpening & contrast
